We are dedicated to finding solutions for families who have made the decision to love and support their adult children who suffer with brain differences beyond what most consider to be reasonable.
Our Focus
We focus our attention on erasing the stigma surrounding mental illness to encourage those who suffer to reach out for help without shame or reservation.
Education
Our weekly webcast entitled “Mental Health Mondays” hosted by Marla and Dave is both entertaining and informative. Our guests share their stories, experiences, and expertise regarding mental health help and awareness.
Health
We are working to change the available insurance coverage for those who need mental health services, for both emergency hospitalization and extended inpatient care.

The Founders of Loving Beyond Reason
We are Marla and David Thomas. Our fight against mental health injustice has been both painful and public. Finding out our sons diagnosis of Bipolar 1 - Schizo Affective disorder, at the age of 23 was more than upsetting, it was DEVASTATING! The only thing worse than his diagnosis was finding out the mental health system is so broken, the only choice most families are left with is to abandon their suffering loved ones. Our story is like countless others who have found themselves fighting a never ending battle for support and solutions, which has led us to turn our pain into purpose, by assisting families who make the choice to
“Love Beyond Reason!”.
